- Prepare a filling with thinly sliced vegetables (carrot, cucumber, lettuce, raw or cooked bean sprouts!) and cooked, shredded marinated chicken (with spices and soy sauce).
- In a pie dish, pour hot water and dip the rice paper in for 10 seconds, taking it out even if it is still hard. Squeeze out the excess water and place a small amount of filling in the center.
- Close the rice paper by folding the left and right sides, then the bottom part facing you, and roll to enclose the filling.
- Serve with spring roll sauce (1 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp nuoc mam sauce, 6 tbsp water and the juice of half a lemon with pulp, 1 crushed garlic clove (and 1 chopped chili for those who like it spicy).
