Ingredients: Millet (or oatmeal, barley or rice flakes), almond milk, nuts, berries, maple syrup, half an apple, fresh ginger.

    1. Chop the fresh ginger, cut the apple into pieces.
    2. Heat 2 cups of water (or vegetable milk), add the chopped ginger for 2 minutes, then add the apple pieces.
    3. Then add 1 cup of millet (or oat flakes). Mix for 3 minutes, then cover and turn off the heat. After 10 minutes, take a look at the mixture. All the water should have been absorbed by the mixture. If you prefer a more “swimming” porridge, do not hesitate to add water or plant-based milk when eating.
    4. Add a tablespoon of grated coconut and a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to sweeten. You can also use a date instead of sugar.
    5. Serve warm, garnished with toasted nuts/almonds/hazelnuts or seeds and fresh fruit.
